Data Science Training Program
July 27-July 28, 2020

Kristina Hanspers, MSc

Gladstone Bioinformatics Core

This workshop will teach you both why and how to use pathways in research and paper figures. First, you’ll get an overview of pathway drawing, covering tools and curation steps, including PathVisio, WikiPathways, Curation Guidelines, and the WikiPathways Curation Process. Then, you’ll have a chance to put your new knowledge to work in a hands-on portion, where you will get familiar with pathway drawing tools and be able to build your own pathway model based on a figure. You can use your own pathway of interest in this exercise.

Visit the workshop site to download materials.

Note: This workshop will be held over 2 days, July 27–28, 2020. Attendance in the first session is mandatory in order to attend the second session.

The Gladstone Data Science Training Program was started in 2018 to provide trainees with learning opportunities and hands-on workshops to improve their skills in bioinformatics and computational analysis. This program offers a series of workshops throughout the year to enable trainees to gain new skills and get support with their questions and data.
