Scientists at Gladstone and UCSF Form Two New Research Institutes

The Stem Cellar—Gladstone announced the formation of two new institutes: the Gladstone Institute of Virology, which will focus on COVID-19 and other emerging viruses, and the Gladstone-UCSF Institute of Genomic Immunology, which will focus on approaches to manipulate the immune system to fight cancer, autoimmune disease, and infectious disease. The Institute of Virology will be led by Melanie Ott, and the Institute of Genomic Immunology will be led by Alexander Marson.
