When the Gladstone trustees were looking for their 3rd president, they did not have to look far to find the person who would lead the organization into the next era. Deepak Srivastava had been director of the Gladstone Institute of Cardiovascular Disease since 2005, having arrived in San Francisco from the University of Texas-Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. While he is third in line and taking cues from his predecessors, he is developing his own style and strengths as Gladstone president.
