Lady Falcon Coffee Club

Buffy Maguire has been making her mark on the male-dominated world of coffee roasting through her company Lady Falcon Coffee Club, a specialty coffee roaster and tea company that originated in San Francisco’s Ocean Beach neighborhood. Taiwan Bento
Location: Oakland
Business Type: Taiwanese Restaurant

Although most diners are familiar with various Asian cuisines, many know very little about the foods that Taiwan has to offer. Since 2014, chef and co-owner Stacy Tang has been working to change this by showcasing Taiwanese food in her Uptown Oakland restaurant. Featuring a menu of bentos, baos, noodles, and snacks, the food is almost entirely sourced from local farms and other Asian American and Pacific Islander businesses.
