Friday, August 28, 2026

Applying for an academic position can be a daunting process. In this panel discussion, you’ll hear from three Gladstone alums who recently went through the process of interviewing and negotiating for academic positions.

Walk away from this course with tools to:

  • Prepare for your phone and in-person interviews
  • Develop your chalk talk and/or teaching demonstration
  • Negotiate your academic package

Speakers:

  • Ashley George (Assistant Professor, University of Nevada-Reno)
  • Murad Mamedov (Assistant Professor, The Wistar Institute)
  • Hannah Richter (Assistant Professor, University of Colorado-Colorado Springs)

This event, and the rest of the Trainee to Tenure series, is designed to be attended the year (or more) before you intend to go on the job market.
