From where to find these roles to the hiring process itself, successfully applying for and landing an industry role requires an understanding of and preparation for these differences. Learning Objectives
By the end of this seminar, you will:
- Learn about the current state of the job market
- Identify the steps of a typical job search for industry roles
- Learn how to define your job search parameters based on your skills, strengths, and values
- Identify strategies to organize and track your job search
- Identify comprehensive (e.g. LinkedIn) and niche search tools to find job postings, and how to access the "hidden job market"
- Understand how to implement filtering and notification tools to find relevant positions
- Learn how to evaluate your qualifications for identified positions
