Gladstone Partners with the Keio University School of Medicine
Gladstone Institutes recently signed an agreement to officially partner with the Keio University School of Medicine to increase cooperation and interaction. Keio University is among the top schools in Japan, with a distinguished track record in biomedical research.
The purpose of the agreement is to strengthen and promote research collaborations to further the scientific community’s collective understanding of stem cells, regenerative medicine, cardiovascular disease, neurodegenerative disease, and immunology.
Deepak Srivastava, MD, president of Gladstone, and Hideyuki Okano, MD, PhD, dean of the Keio University Graduate School of Medicine will meet yearly to discuss and explore new possible opportunities for future cooperation. Over the next 5 years, the partnership could include the exchange of research personnel, as well as the development of joint research projects and joint scientific publications.
