The Scientist—The COVID-19 pandemic has shuttered labs and made international travel almost impossible. Sudha Krishnamurthy, director of the Office of Postdoctoral and Graduate Student Affairs, explains that these changes, in combination with federal policies that have placed restrictions on immigration, will decrease the number of scientists who come to the US for training.
