Robert Edgar is an independent scientist and entrepreneur, best known for developing widely used bioinformatics algorithms, including MUSCLE and USEARCH. He will present a talk titled "Infection and Immunity of Arboviral Diseases: Hope for New Therapies."

Artem Babaian is a CIFAR Azrieli Scholar and leads the Laboratory for RNA-based Lifeforms. He also co-leads the Logan Consortium, which focuses on RNA viruses and plastic-degrading enzymes. He will present a talk titled "Catalyzing a Microplastic-Free Future with 100 Million Gigabytes of DNA."
