Each year, through the PUMAS (Promoting Underrepresented and Marginalized Populations’ Advancement in the Sciences) program, Gladstone Institutes welcomes a dynamic group of college students to explore the world of scientific research and ignite their passion for discovery.
This year, Gladstone hosted 16 interns who were each paired with mentors across various labs. By the end of the program, interns showcased their work at a poster session, presenting their research to Gladstone's community. Throughout the summer, these young scientists not only gained hands-on lab experience, but also developed their communication and professional skills.
Check out photos from the internship and join us in celebrating these promising minds in science.
Your gift to Gladstone will allow our researchers to pursue high-quality science, focus on disease, and train the next generation of scientific thought leaders.
