Bruce Conklin

Senior Investigator

Scientists frequently communicate with each other through erudite publications and presentations at closed-door meetings. In this seminar, Bruce Conklin will describe his collaborations with the Exploratorium and the California Academy of Sciences, and the importance of bringing science to more public spaces.

Bruce Conklin is a senior investigator at Gladstone. His team aims to cure genetic diseases using CRISPR genome editing. Conklin’s approach involves modeling the effect of rare mutations in induced pluripotent stem cells to understand disease mechanisms, then testing the potential of genome editing to restore cellular health.
