Sonali Chaturvedi

Research Investigator, Weinberger Lab

Sonali Chaturvedi’s research has helped identify two new classes of therapies to which viruses can’t evolve resistance. Specifically, her team is interested in understanding the genetic circuits that control how viruses behave within cells, and harnessing them to create new therapies. She is also interested in answering a long-standing fundamental question in the field of biology: how do organisms maximize their fitness in unpredictable environment?
