Steve Finkbeiner, MD, PhD, and his lab study brain cells to understand how they learn and remember, as well as what causes them to malfunction and die in diseases, such as Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, and Huntington’s disease.

In this webinar, Finkbeiner will explore ways to transform the traditional approach to science by leveraging expertise in robotics and artificial intelligence to build a “thinking microscope"—one that learns from the images it analyzes and designs its own experiments, improving the rigor and reproducibility of research, lowering costs, and accelerating the discovery of cures.
