Are you looking for the skills you need to successfully lead a research group? The Scientific Leadership and Management Skills Course—designed for senior trainees and junior investigators but open to all—is a 3-week course to help bolster your experience in leadership styles, people management, inclusive leadership, and conflict resolution.

Deadline to register is February 19.

Once you register, you’ll have to take the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) in advance of the course.

The course takes place once a week for 3 weeks. Sessions will include interactive discussions, case studies, and real-world scenarios.

Lunch on April 22 and 29 will be provided.

About the Bay Area Postdoc Coalition

This program is being offered by the Bay Area Postdoc Coalition. The coalition consists of four institutions: Gladstone Institutes, UC Berkeley, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, and UC Davis, with the shared goal of providing comprehensive training to postdocs and early career scientists.
