Anatol Kreitzer, PhD, Senior Investigator

Anatol Kreitzer’s group is focused on the basal ganglia, the brain structures that play a critical role in motor planning, learning, and movement. Specifically, the laboratory aims to understand how neural activity and plasticity in these circuits shape motor behavior, and how neurological disorders, such as Parkinson’s disease, affect synaptic, cellular, and circuit function in this region.
