Gladstone NOW: The Campaign Join Us on the Journey✕
On February 19, Gladstone held its annual health and benefits fair to showcase some of its vendor partners who provide benefits, including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, retirement, wellness, and flexible reimbursement programs, childcare and employee assistance, and pet insurance.
“We look forward to this event every year,” said Jacqueline McCawley, benefits administrator at Gladstone. “We want to ensure that our community knows all of the details about the benefits that Gladstone offers to them.”
During the fair, Gladstone’s vendor partners were available to answer questions and provide detailed information about the programs at Gladstone. The event concluded with raffle prizes for those who attended.
Gladstone provides a variety of other benefits, including training and development opportunities, reduced gym and Zipcar membership rates, and discounted tickets to various entertainment venues.
Those benefits are one of the reasons that Gladstone was voted one of best places to work in academia and for postdocs by The Scientist eight times over the last decade. It was also recognized in 2014 by the National Academies’ Committee on Science, Engineering, and Public Policy as a remarkable model institution for postdocs to train.
“We are very fortunate that Gladstone offers such great benefits to its community,” said Barbara Erickson, benefits manager at Gladstone. “Even still, we continue to look for new opportunities to improve the benefits for the Gladstone community.”
Your gift to Gladstone will allow our researchers to pursue high-quality science, focus on disease, and train the next generation of scientific thought leaders.
