Sarah Gurev, PhD
Sarah Gurev is beginning a FutureHouse AI-for-Science Independent Postdoctoral Fellowship, co-advised by Sergey Ovchinnikov (MIT) and Aaron Schmidt (Ragon). She recently completed her PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at MIT (and a short postdoc) in Debora Marks lab at Harvard. She works on deep generative models of proteins—with a focus on modeling viral and immune protein sequences and structures—applied to viral evolution prediction, virus-host interactions, and future-proofed vaccine/antibody design.
