BIPOC Mental Health Month
Participate in Gladstone’s BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) Mental Health Month book swap! Members from Elevated Voices and the Community Wellness Group have set up a book swap on the community table in the lobby, filled with books by BIPOC authors and centered around healing. You can stop by to pick up a book anytime in July.
To help keep the books stocked, you can also add a book written by a BIPOC author to the table, similar to a little free library.
Some books you’ll find in the book swap include:
- What it Takes to Heal by Prentis Hemphill
- Set Boundaries, Find Peace: A Guide to Reclaiming Yourself by Nedra Glover Tawwab
- What My Bones Know: A Memoir of Healing from Complex Trauma by Stephanie Foo
- And many more!
