To submit a nomination for the Ogawa-Yamanaka Stem Cell Prize, you must include:

  • 1–5 publications by the nominee (must include link to publication)
  • 1–3 reference letters in support of the nominee
  • Short summary (500 words) of why the nominee should be considered, explaining how their original translational research has advanced cellular reprogramming technology for regenerative medicine

You can save your nomination form at any point in draft mode and return later to complete it. Once you select “Save Draft”, you will receive an email with a link to return to your nomination form. Select “Submit” once you’ve finalized your nomination.

Terms and Conditions

  • The entire body of a nominee's work will be considered.
  • A selection committee appointed by Shinya Yamanaka, MD, PhD, and Deepak Srivastava, MD, of Gladstone Institutes will review all nominations.
  • Current members of the selection committee are not eligible for the prize. The selection committee may choose up to three awardees to equally share the prize.
  • A prize will be awarded as long as the selection committee identifies a qualified candidate.
  • The selection committee’s decision is final.
