Trainee-to-Tenure
Garth A. Fowler, PhD
An increasing number of institutions have made a commitment to hiring and retaining a diverse and inclusive staff. As part of that approach, many faculty job applications ask that you include a diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) statement in your application materials. But what exactly is a DEI statement, and what goes in it?
This workshop will also address statements of different names and focus that have related goals, such as statements of community, statements of inclusion, and others.
Join this session to learn how to craft your DEI statement for your application package.
