“RNA-Seq Simplified: Solutions For Every Sample”

This event is open to Gladstone scientists.

Please join the Genomics Core and NuGEN for a presentation entitled “RNA-Seq Simplified: Solutions For Every Sample.”

Characterization of RNA and DNA via next generation sequencing (NGS) was once limited to high input, high quality samples. Optimization of chemistries in recent years has enabled access to a new array of sample types including single cells, liquid biopsies, and exosomes. NuGEN Technologies offers a wide range of NGS library preparation kits featuring technologies designed to maximize obtainable sequencing data from any sample. These core technologies include Single Primer Isothermal Amplification (SPIA) for robust detection of rare transcripts, AnyDeplete for targeted removal of unwanted transcripts, such as rRNA and globin, and DimerFree ligation chemistry for more useful data from every experiment. NuGEN’s Ovation SoLo RNA-Seq offers the only whole transcriptome RNA-Seq analysis solution for single cell RNA-Seq, and their recently launched Trio RNA-Seq combines our three core technologies (SPIA, DimerFree, and AnyDeplete) for high sensitivity, whole transcriptome analysis including viral detection and host-pathogen interaction studies.

NuGEN technologies is a proud partner of the Gladstone Institutes Genomics Core and offers streamlined, cost effective library preparation solutions for any sample type, input level, and organism.

Lunch will be provided for those who register.
