In this session of Design Lab, you’ll learn easy-to-implement tricks to take your publication figures to a more professional level.

Watch a live demo to learn how to make the panels in your figures cohesive by using the grouping and alignment features, and by quickly changing multiple elements at once, like fonts, line weight, and colors.

You’ll learn how to choose the best colors and how to optimize embedded images, like microscopy and heat maps.

In an open Q&A, you’ll get a chance to ask questions about the process or about other pain points you’re experiencing in your software or design, so bring your real-life examples.

Who Can Attend?

Design Lab is geared toward investigators and trainees who have any level of design experience. Some familiarity with design or illustration software is ideal, but the principles covered are universal and can be implemented with any software.
