Convergence Seminar
Monday, April 25, 2022

Jian Shu, PhD

Assistant Professor
Massachusetts General Hospital
Harvard Medical School

The Shu Lab is passionate about understanding the players and interactions in complex biological ecosystems and methods to reprogram and engineer cellular and molecular circuits. Their research focuses on: 1) developing and optimizing experimental and computational approaches to integrate genomic, epigenomic, spatial, and imaging data, along with CRISPR perturbations and lineage tracing, to decode complex systems in time and space at single-cell resolution; and 2) applying these single-cell toolboxes to study immune tolerance in immune-privileged sites and tumor immune evasion.
