Get an insider look at a research lab studying COVID-19.
In response to the pandemic, many Gladstone scientists have rapidly pivoted the focus of their research labs to SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. They are leveraging their established tools, unique infrastructure, and diverse expertise in virology to develop improved diagnostics, identify targeted treatment strategies, and invent preventative approaches.
In this virtual lab tour, you’ll get to hear directly from scientists who are working to understand COVID-19. Two researchers who authored a recent pre-print about the effects of SARS-CoV-2 on the heart will present their work, how they made this discovery, and the impact it could have on treatment of COVID-19 patients.
This event is hosted in partnership with the Bay Area Science Festival. We will also be broadcasting it live on Facebook.
