Ada Lovelace Day

Read by Teresa Roberts

Bring the whole family together for a special family reading hour in honor of Ada Lovelace Day! Gladstone’s very own Teresa Roberts will be reading the book Ada Twist, Scientist by Andrea Beaty (illustrated by David Roberts—no relation).

Gather your kids (or roommates) for a treat that’s fun for the whole family as we celebrate the achievements of women in STEM.

Gladstone is celebrating Ada Lovelace day, celebrated the second Tuesday in October each year. This day was established to celebrate women in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields. Lovelace was one of the first computer programmers and is revered as a role model for children everywhere to become whatever they want to be. Join us as we celebrate the achievements of women in STEM.
