DJ: Madre Guía (Stephanie Hewett)

Join Gladstone’s very own Stephanie Hewett for a live DJ set celebrating Black liberation and joy. Stephanie will be sharing a full hour of electronic music that honors the Detroit and Chicago pioneers of house and techno music.

Get dressed up to dance off the rest of your workday or tune in while you work. You can stop by anytime during the set.

About the DJ

Stephanie Hewett, who DJs and produces music under the name Madre Guía, has been delving into electronic music for the past year and a half. She is heavily influenced by music created throughout the African diaspora and has a soft spot for Detroit and Chicago house and techno music. Her sets are curated to get bodies moving and spirits lifted.

This event is hosted by Elevated Voices. Elevated Voices aims to create an inclusive culture in which people of color are empowered to contribute, learn, and lead.
