Steve Finkbeiner, MD, PhD

Steve Finkbeiner’s lab studies a wide range of neurodegenerative diseases, including amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), Huntington’s, Alzheimer’s, and Parkinson’s diseases. Specifically, they are interested in understanding how neuronal activity elicits changes in gene expression that are important for learning and memory, and how genetic mutations lead to neuronal dysfunction and degeneration.
