President’s Council 2019 Fall Symposium

Global Health: Immunotherapy for Infectious Disease
Thursday, September 12, 2019 - 4:00pm to 5:30pm
Mahley Auditorium

In today’s global world, disease knows no borders. Recent epidemics such as the Zika virus, the Ebola virus, and HIV have re-emerged as major public health concerns, and infectious diseases continue to be one of the top 10 causes of death worldwide. Understanding how the human body interacts with viruses and other pathogens may be the key to treating these life-threatening infectious diseases.

Join this panel discussion to learn how Gladstone scientists are manipulating the immune system in new ways to find novel approaches to fight infectious diseases.
