Ryan Conrad of the Ott laboratory will present.

Ryan Conrad is a postdoctoral scholar in the laboratory of Melanie Ott.

The Ott laboratory focuses on two pathogens—human immunodeficiency virus (HIV-1) and hepatitis C virus (HCV)—and how they interact with cells in a host. Her laboratory studies the molecular mechanisms by which HIV infects and replicates in CD4 T cells, and how it wreaks havoc on part of the body’s immune system.
