Paul Kubes, PhD
Paul Kubes trained at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, in the field of cardiovascular physiology. He completed his postdoctoral fellowship at LSU Medical Center and focused on imaging the immune system under the guidance of Neil Granger, MD. Through microscopy and novel imaging techniques, the Kubes Lab studies various mechanisms to help eradicate microbiomes in the liver, lungs, and other organs. Most recently, the lab has started studying how the innate immune system is critical for helping to heal injured tissue.
