About the Speaker
Vay Cao founded Free the PhD after she transitioned out of academia. She aims to help those who are eager to make a difference in the world with their research knowledge but are struggling with their career transitions. She received her PhD in neuroscience from the National Institutes of Health Graduate Partnerships Program with Brown University.
