Celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the Gladstone Institute of Neurological Disease
Diseases that affect the brain or other parts of the central nervous system are among the most disabling and complex conditions plaguing humankind. As populations around the world are living longer, neurodegenerative disorders have been rising in prevalence at an unprecedented pace. For 25 years, scientists at the Gladstone Institute of Neurological Disease have been at the forefront of neurological research to better understand and ultimately find effective treatments for disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, and related conditions.
This 1-day symposium will showcase foundational achievements of the past, groundbreaking discoveries of the present, and the exciting future potential of disease-focused neuroscience. It will feature presentations by current investigators, distinguished alumni, and invited panelists from across the Bay Area.
Gain insights into their transformative studies and innovative technologies, and into the unique strategies they are using to develop novel therapeutic approaches in this rapidly evolving area of biomedicine.
