Introduction to RNA Seq Analysis

Single Cell RNA-Seq Data Analysis Workshop

Learn about techniques, platforms, and methods used in analyzing single-cell data.
  • Gladstone Data Science Training Program
Tuesday, August 20, 2019 - 9:00am to 5:00pm
UCSF Mission Bay, Mission Hall, Room 1401, San Francisco, CA 94158
This 1-day workshop will cover techniques, platforms, and methods that are used in analyzing single cell data. The workshop has two hands-on sessions: an introductory session in the morning and advanced sessions in the afternoon.
The morning session (9am–12pm) will focus on analysis using Seurat and Monocle. The afternoon session (12–5pm) will cover advanced topics on how to conduct network analysis of single cell datasets in Cytoscape, normalization and differential analysis outside of Seurat, and querying a Single Cell Atlas for cell types.
For the full workshop details and a link to register, please refer to the full event listing. Laptops and chargers are required.

The Gladstone Data Science Training Program was started in 2018 to provide trainees with learning opportunities and hands-on workshops to improve their skills in bioinformatics and computational analysis. This program offers a series of workshops through the year to enable trainees to gain new skills and get support with their questions and data.
