Associate Investigator
Director, Gladstone Lipid Clinic

Bersot’s work focuses on genetic disorders of cholesterol metabolism. At the Gladstone Lipid Clinic, which began as a resource for the Gladstone Institute of Cardiovascular Disease, he provides patient care and teaches health-care providers and community members about research related to blood lipid (cholesterol) disorders and preventing coronary heart disease. Bersot also established the Gladstone Lipid Clinic Outreach Program and the Lipid Disorders Training Center. These programs teach health-care providers about the latest advances in heart disease prevention.
