Gladstone Science Talks Spring 2019
“How HIV Gets Inside and Hides: Using High-Dimensional Single-Cell Analysis to Combat a Persistent Virus”
Nadia Roan, PhD, Visiting Scientist
Wednesday, March 20, 2019 - 3:00pm to 4:00pm
Mahley Auditorium

Nadia Roan, PhD
Visiting Scientist

Nadia Roan’s laboratory studies the properties of immune cells in tissues, including how interactions between immune cells and HIV can affect viral transmission, persistence, and pathogenesis. The laboratory applies a variety of single-cell high-dimensional analytical approaches in ex vivo models and on patient samples to understand the role of the tissue microenvironment in health and disease.

Gladstone Science Talks allow investigators to share the latest research from their laboratories. These talks are open to the broader Gladstone community. View all upcoming Gladstone Science Talks
